Founded by my mother Julia, who is also known as Aba by her children and grandchildren; our company has always been dedicated to creating accessories with the same love and passion that she always extended to her family.

With my mother, my sister Cristina and myself, we designed and released our first collection in 2016. As a completely vertical company, my mother and I handled making each piece by hand, and Cristina provided the knowledge of sales and marketing. We would spend countless hours searching for amazing fabrics and materials and mastering our craft of bow making. Once we felt like we had it just right, we diligently visited local stores and fairs to promote and sell our products. It was an unforgettable journey!

In 2019, with the company running at full speed, my niece Emma was born, and Cristina was able to retire; although, she continúes assisting me with her marketing expertise and I cannot thank her enough for all the help she provides me when needed.

With the support of my family, I have taken on the greater role of owner and operator of abashandmade. Now, years later, I look back on when it all started with only hair bows for babies and how I have expanded to an assortment of products for children of all ages.
